Hi there!

First off, thank you for visiting our page. We are Evolve Soccer LA, a brand new indoor and outdoor soccer facility in Los Angeles. As life-long soccer players and fans, it was our dream to open a soccer academy so a few years ago we set out to find THE perfect space. Last year we found the perfect building located at 1921 Blake Ave. in the vibrant sector of Elysian Valley, also called Frogtown by local residents. We are absolutely in love with the location, there is a wonderful creative spirit about it, and we are deeply honored to be part of this amazing community.

We acquired the building in late 2016 and moved in at the end of February 2017. It was previously a picture frame manufacturing factory and when we moved in, there were heavy machines installed throughout the warehouse, including floor to ceiling pallets of inventory. Needless to say, we quite literally had a mountain of work to do to get ready for the building’s next incarnation; a place where people can get together to enjoy soccer, art, music and more!

From early March, we jumped right into renovating the space, gutting it and finding cool material and industrial pieces that we just couldn’t throw away…so we didn’t. It was a no brainer that we would try to salvage or re-purpose as much as we could. We are super excited to share the story of the “evolution” of 1921 Blake Ave. with you, how we transformed a working factory into a unique multi-faceted space that is now also home to Evolve Soccer LA.
